I was born and raised in Jefferson City, MO. I attended grade school, high school and college right there in my home town. I was married to my childhood sweetheart in 1973. We moved to Harbor Beach, Michigan, where my husband was currently teaching at Zion Lutheran School. I became a part of that staff, teaching grades K,1 and 2. Two years later, we returned to Missouri to be close to family. We both began teaching at Hope Lutheran School in St. Ann, MO. I taught a morning Kindergarten and Language Art in grades 3-8 in the afternoon. Five years later I accepted a position as First Grade teacher at River Roads Lutheran School in St. Louis. Six years later, I started an All Day Kindergarten at that school. I continued that ministry for the next 12 years. I then became a part of the Atonement Family. This is my 20th year as Atonement's Kindergarten teacher.
I love teaching young children, but Kindergarten is my favorite. They are so eager to learn, and everything is exciting for them. I consider it a privilege to teach these children about their Jesus, their Savior.
In my leisure time, I enjoy sewing, crafts, reading and walking.
